Supporting our staff is something that Bridge Interiors takes seriously. We are proud to be supporting our financial controller Stacey Wall, as she and a friend train and take part in the 2020 London Marathon.
What is the London Marathon?
The London Marathon is a long-distance running event held in London, UK in the spring of every year. It was first held on the 29 March 1981 and has happened every year since. It’s been sponsored by Virgin Money since 2010 and is currently known as the Virgin Money London Marathon due to their current sponsorship. Participants will often run to raise money for a charity, and this event has raised over £450 million for charity since 1981 and holds the Guinness World record as the largest annual fundraising event in the world.
This year’s Marathon is scheduled for the 26th of April and is a 26.2-mile (42.195km) race.

A note from Stacey
“We are now in the thick of training and its starting to get scary! I managed my furthest ever run on Saturday – 14 miles (2 hours and 30 minutes of nonstop running).
If anyone would like to donate, we are running in aid of Blind Veterans UK which helps Veterans with partial or full sight loss rebuild their lives and be able to live independently by providing support, rehabilitation and amazing gadgets, aids, and technology. All this enables them to live their life to the fullest and regain independence after experiencing the loss of their sight.”
