This role will shape the future of the sales function at Bridge Contract Interiors. We run on EOS, which provides business structure and strong, visible accountability as foundations, while your creativity and experience will help the business to flourish anew.

The Aspiring Sales Manager will report to our General Manager at Bridge Contract Interiors.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Involvement in creating the sales strategy, regularly analysing its success, improving and innovating as necessary.
  • Creating and delivering the sales plan: increasing existing revenue streams and bringing in new customers.
  • Building the Sales team: assisting with hiring, training, and supporting the sales team. Monitoring the sales team’s progress, conducting periodic appraisals to recognise achievements, identify shortcomings and propose improvements.
  • Sales team accountability: setting goals for the team and ensuring that company goals are met monthly. Creating sales reports for the management team.
  • Sales team incentives: developing and implementing sales incentive programs to motivate the sales team.
  • Customer relations: oversee inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time. Responding to complaints from customers and giving after-sales support when requested to maintain positive customer relations.
  • Lead generation on the telephone/telesales/visits to clients as and when necessary.
  • Liaising with the marketing department to produce presentation materials including brochures, ensuring it is high-quality, relevant and up to date.
  • Liaising with marketing and the sales team to attend trade show events, with a follow up plan for tangible results.

Your skills:

  • Ability to communicate, lead, inspire and motivate.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

Details

Job type:

Permanent, full time role (part time applications will be considered)

In person at SN14 6NA – reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (we don’t promote hybrid working)

There will be occasional visits to clients and trade shows

Pay:

£35,000 – £50,000 basic, depending on experience

Commission scheme – OTE £60,000

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • No weekends

Experience and certifications required:

  • Sales management 1 year
  • Full driving licence
  • Authorisation to work in the UK
