Here at Bridge, we’ve been on the edge of our seats waiting for the 2020 Pantone colour to come out. The 2019 colour “Living Coral” has popped up in varying tones throughout projects we have completed this year and we can’t wait to see whether projects in the new year will begin to incorporate new 2020 colour into their room schemes.
We have seen the predictions and when searching online, the internet seems to think what with caring about the planet and being eco-friendly becomes more prominent, its expected for the Pantone colours to reflect that.
We asked some of the soft furnishing specialists here at Bridge what their predictions would be for the Pantone colour 2020 and they’re choices were a wide range of colours and tones.
Here’s what they had to say
Verity – Executive Assistant
“Deep blue. Being eco-friendly and saving the ocean is in the media a lot lately so I think it will be something similar to the sea in colour.”
Chloe – Internal Account Manager
“Chick Yellow, because we need something fresh and bright in the new year to spread some happiness.”
Danielle – Marketing Executive
“Turquoise green. Running with all thing’s nature, I’m guessing Pantone are going to go with a colour that replicates the earth or sea this year”
Ebony – Internal Account Manager
“Scarlet, I think that 2020 is going to be a vibrant year and this colour fits well. It is also associated with a festive time of year which is always a good thing!”
Millie – Brand Ambassador
“Light blue. I think softer tones are going to be in in the new year, light blue signifies calmness.”
Becca – Soft Furnishing Specialist
“Ocean blue, because of sustainability being so important right now, and with saving our oceans being a strong theme for this year which will carry through to 2020.”
We’re looking forward to seeing what the actual Pantone colour for 2020 is, so keep an eye out for a possible follow up blog post in the new year displaying the team’s thoughts about it. What are your predictions? Let us know over on our socials!
