The Junior Window Treatment Installer will report to the Installations Manager.

The role:

• Install a variety of window treatments, including blinds, shades, and curtains, using appropriate tools and techniques in commercial residences and public buildings across the UK.
• Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations.
• Perform minor electrical work related to motorised window treatments as needed.
• Conduct painting touch-ups post-installation to ensure a polished finish.
• Maintain an organised workspace and ensure all tools are accounted for after each job.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process, and ensure a timely resolution.

Your skills:

• Interest in carpentry or a related field is essential.
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment necessary for installations.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous for installing motorised window treatments.
• Ability to read instructions and measure for new blinds.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with both clients and team members.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods while performing installations.
• A valid driver’s licence is essential for travel between job sites.

Permanent, full time role (part time applications will be considered)

Pay:

£30,000 – £33,000 pa

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday – Friday
• No weekends

Experience and certifications required:

• Carpentry: 1 year
• Full driving licence
• Authorisation to work in the UK
